KYF & National Youth Council Partnership
The Kenya Youth Federation (KYF) had a highly productive engagement with the National Youth Council (NYC) to discuss a strategic partnership focused on empowering Kenyan youth. This collaboration aims to create tangible opportunities for young people by addressing key areas such as leadership and entrepreneurship training, funding linkages, environmental conservation, and overall youth development. The meeting was a major step towards ensuring that every young person in Kenya, regardless of background, has access to the necessary tools and resources to thrive.
During the discussion, NYC expressed its commitment to working with KYF to provide leadership and entrepreneurship training, equipping young people with skills essential for governance, innovation, and economic growth through existing programs. Additionally, the partnership will bridge gaps in funding linkages, connecting youth-led projects with financial opportunities, grants, and government support. To promote sustainable development, environmental conservation initiatives will also be a core focus, engaging young people in climate action and sustainability projects. Furthermore, both organizations agreed on the importance of capacity-building workshops and seminars, which will provide mentorship, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions to prepare young people for leadership and employment.
This collaboration is a game-changer for Kenyan youth, ensuring that they are empowered both directly and indirectly. KYF remains the leading youth empowerment platform, committed to transforming the lives of young people across all 47 counties. We encourage all Kenyan youth to join KYF and take full advantage of the programs designed to uplift and support their ambitions.
