KYF MEETS THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE – LIVESTOCK DEPARTMENT
LondonKenya Youth Federation held a transformative meeting with Dr. Humphrey Christopher Wanga, Director of Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture, who applauded KYF’s efforts in youth empowerment and economic transformation. He affirmed the ministry’s collaboration with KYF to ensure that all livestock projects under the department benefits the young people, helping to reduce the current average age of Kenyan farmers from 63 years and create sustainable livelihoods for Kenyan youth.
Agriculture is a one-time investment that can sustain a youth for life! We now call upon KYF Ambassadors in all counties to urgently identify interested youth in livestock farming so we can connect them to existing projects under the Livestock Production Department. These projects will be fully sponsored through a KYF-Livestock Department partnership.
KYF remains committed to unlocking economic opportunities for young people. Let’s take action and secure a future in agribusiness.
