KYF and KNCCI Discuss Strategic Partnership to Scale Youth Empowerment and Economic Growth

Kenya Youths Federation (K.Y.F) recently held a high-level engagement with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) to explore a strategic partnership that will elevate youth empowerment efforts to new heights, both locally and internationally.

The meeting focused on creating sustainable collaboration frameworks that will expand KYF’s network, link young entrepreneurs to wider markets, and strengthen KYF’s position as a national hub for innovation, business, and leadership among the youth. The two organizations discussed actionable ways to support KYF members engaged in entrepreneurship; including opportunities to participate in national and international expos where they can showcase their products, connect with investors, and grow their businesses.

This conversation marked a significant shift in how KYF is positioning itself, as a game-changer in socioeconomic transformation for youth across the country. By linking with KNCCI, a respected institution known for promoting business and investment opportunities, KYF seeks to give young people the platform, tools, and exposure needed to thrive in today’s competitive economic landscape.

Among the key programs discussed were:

  • Organizing regional and national youth business expos

  • Capacity-building and mentorship for KYF-affiliated entrepreneurs

  • Facilitating international exchange programs for business-minded youth

  • Promoting county-level trade fairs featuring KYF members

  • Supporting access to markets, finance, and business registration support

Some of these programs are now being refined and developed into full proposals. Both parties expressed a shared commitment to seeing youth not as passive participants, but as powerful contributors to Kenya’s economic growth and innovation space.

This potential partnership with KNCCI is a reflection of KYF’s growing influence as a structured, youth-driven movement with tangible impact. KYF continues to pursue high-level collaborations that offer real opportunities for employment, enterprise, and empowerment for millions of young people across the country.

As these conversations move toward official implementation, KYF remains grounded in its mission: to empower youth, women, PWDs, and marginalized communities through sustainable, inclusive development programs.

We thank KNCCI for recognizing the power of youth. We look forward to unveiling the full scope of this collaboration and the life-changing opportunities it will unlock for our members.
