KYF Renews National Partnership with Ajira Kenya to Expand Digital Literacy & Online Job Opportunities for Youth

Nairobi, Kenya – 9th December,2025

Kenya Youth Federation (KYF) is pleased to announce the renewal of its strategic partnership with Ajira Kenya, a national program under the Ministry of ICT dedicated to empowering young people through digital skills and online work opportunities. The renewed collaboration will officially roll out in January 2026, ushering in a major expansion of youth-focused digital literacy and job placement programs across all 47 counties.

Through this partnership, KYF will facilitate a two-day intensive physical digital skills training, followed by targeted placement of youth into online jobs depending on their selected digital pathways. The program aims to equip thousands of young Kenyans,  especially those in underserved and marginalized communities, with practical digital tools to access sustainable income streams.

Speaking during the announcement, KYF National Chairperson George Amboka emphasized that digital empowerment is one of the most effective solutions to youth unemployment in the modern world.

“This partnership ensures that every young person, regardless of background or location, can access digital knowledge and make a living through the global online economy. KYF remains committed to fostering equal opportunity and empowering our youth with real, practical skills.”
